Ginger-Soy Ground Beef and Pepper Stir-Fry
A vibrant, savory stir-fry with a deep ginger-garlic profile served over fragrant basmati rice.
Ingredients
- 0.5 lb Ground Beef (lean)
- 0.75 cup Basmati Rice
- 1 medium Red Bell Pepper (sliced into strips)
- 1 medium Green Bell Pepper (sliced into strips)
- 1 tbsp Ginger (finely chopped)
- 2 clove Fresh Garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Sesame Oil
- 1 tbsp Avocado Oil
- 2 stalk Green Onion (chopped)
- 0.5 tsp Salt
- 0.25 tsp Pepper
How to cook

Cook the basmati rice in water according to package directions, then set aside.

Heat avocado oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat until shimmering.

Add the ground beef and cook until browned, using a spatula to break it into small pieces.

Toss in the bell peppers and sauté until they are crisp-tender and charred, about 4 minutes.

Stir in the ginger and garlic, cooking for 30 seconds until aromatic.

Whisk together the soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil in a small bowl, then pour into the pan.

Stir-fry for 2 minutes until the sauce coats the beef and peppers in a glossy glaze.

Season with salt and pepper, serve over the cooked rice, and garnish with sliced green onion.
