Smoked Pineapple Serrano Margarita
A vibrant and bold tequila cocktail pairing the sweetness of caramelized pineapple with the sharp, grassy heat of fresh serrano peppers.
Ingredients
- 2 oz tequila (100% agave blanco)
- 1.5 oz charred pineapple juice (freshly juiced and strained)
- 0.5 oz lime juice (freshly squeezed)
- 0.25 oz agave nectar (light)
- 2 slice serrano pepper (thinly sliced)
- 1 tsp chili salt (for the rim)
How to cook

Rub a lime wedge around the rim of a rocks glass and dip into chili salt to coat.

Muddle one slice of the serrano pepper in the bottom of a shaker.

Add the tequila, charred pineapple juice, lime juice, and agave nectar to the shaker.

Fill with ice and shake firmly for 15 seconds until well-chilled.

Strain into the prepared rocks glass over a large ice cube.

Garnish with the remaining slice of serrano pepper floating on top.
